Hypersonic strikes blind US, Israeli radar systems in Operation True Promise-4: IRGC

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced the seventeenth wave of Operation True Promise-4, launching a devastating assault targeting key strategic assets in the Israeli-occupied territories.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced the seventeenth wave of Operation True Promise-4, launching a devastating assault targeting key strategic assets in the Israeli-occupied territories.

According to IRGC statement No. 20, hypersonic missiles and advanced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) bypassed the US THAAD missile defense system, striking the regime’s war ministry building and Ben Gurion Airport.

It said that the operation successfully destroyed more than seven state-of-the-art radar systems. The IRGC declared that the attacks have blinded the eyes of the US and the Israeli regime in the region, crippling their early warning and defense capabilities.

Throughout the last 100 hours, continuous air raid sirens and mass civilian sheltering across occupied territories underscore the relentless, precisely managed nature of the attack.

The IRGC emphasized that despite Israeli military personnel and civilian infrastructure seeking cover in underground layers, these targets remain vulnerable.

The statement warned that the search and destruction of aggressors would intensify in the coming days, promising even harsher and broader attacks in retaliation for terrorist crimes.

Analysts note that the joint US-Israeli invasion, which began on February 28, 2026, following the martyrdom of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, disregarded ongoing indirect negotiations. In response, Iran launched precise retaliatory strikes against Israeli positions and US bases, citing its inherent right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter and warned that further escalation will invite a harsher reaction.
